Whats better than getting tipsy and watching otters? Nothing.

Aquariums often times get a bad reputation, but when it comes to sustainability and staying true to the animals, Seattle's Aquarium is one to be proud of. My first time to the aquarium was for their regionally renowned Octopus Week. A time in which you can watch the evolution of one of the world's most beloved sea creatures up close. The caretakers will select a male and female to breed, and then release once its time to lay eggs. After my first experience, I was hooked! So when they announced a new series of Adult Only Nights (think booze) I definitely did a little dance.

Pro-Tips:

-Don't be intimidated by the line when you arrive. Once they open the doors it moves really quick because its a ticketed event.

-Bring cash! There is ATMs but who wants to pay fees? The bar are cash only, but the bartenders are really friendly and can actually mix a good drink.

-Don't be afraid to mingle. These events bring out all walks of life and interacting with someone different from you is good.

Stay updated on everything the aquarium has to offer by liking their Facebook page or following them on Instagram or Twitter.
